Terms of Service

• "Platform" means the RiseCoach web application at risecoach.app
• "Coach" means a professional who uses RiseCoach to manage their coaching practice
• "Coachee" means an individual enrolled in a coaching programme managed through RiseCoach
• "Content" means any data, text, notes, or materials submitted to the Platform

You must be at least 18 years old to use RiseCoach. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

Coaches register an account and are responsible for maintaining the security of their login credentials. Coachees are invited to the platform by their coach and access it via a secure magic link sent to their email address.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at hello@risecoach.app if you suspect unauthorised access.

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
• Upload or share content that is harmful, offensive, or infringes third-party rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, copy, or resell any part of the Platform
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Platform
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity

Coaches are solely responsible for the coaching services they provide to coachees. RiseCoach is a platform tool — we are not a party to any coaching relationship and do not supervise, endorse, or guarantee the quality of coaching delivered through the Platform.

Coaches must obtain appropriate consent from coachees before adding them to the Platform and must handle coachee data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

Access to RiseCoach for coaches requires a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually in advance and are processed securely by Stripe.

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings
• We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods
• We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days' written notice

We may offer a free trial period for new coach accounts. At the end of the trial, you will be required to subscribe to continue using the Service. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue trial offers at any time.

All intellectual property rights in the RiseCoach platform — including its design, code, and branding — belong to RiseCoach. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership of our intellectual property to you.

You retain ownership of all Content you submit to the Platform (e.g. session notes, uploaded resources). By submitting Content, you grant us a limited licence to store and display it solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using RiseCoach, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

The Platform integrates with third-party services including Google Calendar and Stripe. Your use of these integrations is subject to those providers' own terms and privacy policies. RiseCoach is not responsible for the actions or data practices of third-party services.

We aim to provide the Platform with high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance or updates, with advance notice where reasonably possible.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RiseCoach shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of data, lost profits, or business interruption.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RiseCoach and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your Content, or your violation of these Terms.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at hello@risecoach.app.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that harms other users or the integrity of the Platform.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Platform. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
